Nico Paradis launches Kickstarter Campaign for Her Second Children’s Book

Now Seeking Community Support via Kickstarter!

Nico Paradis is an American children’s book author and a mother, who is passionate about children’s literature and the power of representation. Followed by the success of her first children’s book titled “Mama, What’s a Witch?”, she has announced the launch of her second children’s  book titled ‘Mama, What’s an Immigrant?’. To publish this book and share it with the parents and children worldwide, Nico has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, and she is welcoming generous community support and backing.

“This illustrated children’s book is written in rhyming verse that celebrates the beauty, magic, and strength of immigrants.” Said Nico Paradis, while introducing this project to the Kickstarter community. “I wrote this book to bring a feeling of excitement and celebration towards immigration for young readers because immigration is a controversial political topic, and our children are listening.” She added. The book is illustrated by a Ukrainian artist Naya Kirichenko, who is currently living in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Kickstarter Campaign is located on the web at:

www.kickstarter.com/projects/nicobparadis/mama-whats-an-immigrant and backers from around the world can become a part of this project by making generous pledges and donations. Furthermore, more details are available on the Kickstarter campaign page of the project.
